Award-winning actor and the former voice of UFC promos Ron Perlman has now set his sights on creating a boxing drama. Moreover, the Hellboy actor was spotted shooting for the film in Hoboken while enjoying an afternoon brunch. The veteran actor has worked with MMA’s premier promotion for a long time and is also featured as the narrator in some of the most iconic promos in the company.

Now, Perlman has moved along with his acting career, a will make a boxing drama, Day of the Fight. Moreover, the movie will also co-star Academy Award-winning star, Joe Pesci.

Ron Perlman spotted shooting for his next film

Perlman was spotted eating and taking a walk along Halifax enjoying the waterfront. It was also reported that he went to The Mile Square after this to continue shooting for the film. However, no crew or staff except Perlman was spotted. The movie will also feature other notable names like Michael Pitt and Nicolette Robinson.

The story follows a boxer’s journey to redemption after falling from grace from his celebrated past. It revolves around his comeback into boxing after serving time in prison and returning to his former glory. However, it is still unclear what characters the actors will be playing in the movie. The movie has caused some stir among combat sports fans who have high expectations from this project. Moreover, the star-studded cast only adds to the expectations for this boxing drama.

How long has Perlman been with the UFC?

The ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ star has worked with the UFC for five years, first narrating a promo back in 2018. Since then he has voiced hundreds of fight promos and cold openings for the promotion. This includes many of the organization PPV’s with UFC 281, 277, and 275 being some of the recent ones he has worked on.

The legendary actor still partakes in being the narrator for the promotion from time to time. But is not in full-term contact with the UFC. However, his iconic voice has garnered a lot of interest in fights which has made him a regular for narrating promos for PPVs.
