‘Rocky’ Actor Sylvester Stallone Looks Scared For His Life in Extremely Rare Mike Tyson Picture

Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic boxers of all time. Meanwhile, when talking about reel life, Sylvester Stallone and his character, Rocky Balboa, have graced the boxing rings of the silver screen. In fact, a recently resurfaced photograph showed both legends in a single frame.

The photograph showed Tyson and Stallone jovially posing for a picture. While the caption mentioned that the picture is from 2000. It can is speculated that the picture might have been taken earlier. Stallone had previously contacted Tyson for a role in one of the Rocky movies. However, he later had a change of mind about getting into the ring with ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’. Stallone even hilariously mentioned that he was ‘too young to die’.

Tyson, on the other hand, wanted to get into the ring with Stallone. And was even given a place in the audience while the reel boxing match took place. But Tyson did not take up his offer.

Stallone also had a few choice words to say about Tyson ahead of his fight against Roy Jones Jr. He said, “You’re talking about, I mean – everyone knows it, Mike Tyson is a wrecking ball.”

He clarified that Jones Jr. is a great fighter, but it’s all a ‘matter of physics’.

Fans were elated to see the picture of both legends together. And they took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

A lot of fans were quick to point out that the photo was not from 2000. Geovani Opry Sherow said, “Not ‘2000!’ Not even close!!”

Klaus Bolvig mentioned, “This is further back! Mike had this notorious golden smile. So Around 1990.”

Similarly, Raheim Bazile stated, “Why on earth would they think this is 2000.”

Meanwhile, a few users spoke about the duo’s iconic status.  Sander Al said, “The greatest Boxer in real life with the greatest boxer in film history.”

In the same vein, Stephen Lombe said, “My favorite boxer of all time with my favorite actor of all time.”

Similarly, Bruce Young mentioned, “Awesome picture of 2 legends in one frame.”

On the other hand, Brad Collings felt that the duo should unite on the silver screen. He said, “They should make a movie together.”

However, Chris Lyons had an intriguing thought. He said, “Mike knows just about everyone. Pick any random celebrity and there’s a good chance they have a photo with Mike Tyson.”
