Aged 55, heavyweight elite Mike Tyson can still spin the wheels in modern-day combat. ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ garners call-outs regularly and people half his age still want to have a crack at him. After a stellar return to the ring in an exhibition in 2020, Tyson seems more vulnerable to the modern age combatants.

While a rumored fight against Logan Paul is still making news, ‘Iron’ Mike has now been challenged by surging UFC star Paddy Pimblett. It wasn’t a heated call-out. Instead, Pimblett saw it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. However, he didn’t miss expressing his supremacy when asked to fantasize about himself in a scrap against Mike Tyson.

In a chat with Barstool Sports, Pimblett said, “He is like 50 now. So anyway, I will fight him. He can box obviously he can punch my fu*** head right in. But he doesn’t know when it’s coming when I shoot him. I don’t care if it’s a boxing matchup.”

Just 1-0 in the UFC, Paddy Pimblett has already sent shock waves in the global MMA scene. Showing similarities with the rise of Conor McGregor, Pimblett broke out into the European MMA scene. In 2021, a successful UFC debut has been the cherry on the cake for him.

Amid all the stardom, he has utilized the chance to call out Mike Tyson. Well, Tyson can rightly ignore it, as it isn’t something new to him. If not against Paddy Pimblett, we can still expect ‘Iron’ to enter the ring.

From veterans of his time to modern-day warriors, Tyson can explore several names if he decides to fight again. A former foe in Evander Holyfield is still ready to throw hands with ‘Iron’ in an epic trilogy. Meanwhile, Logan Paul can bring in chunks of money for ‘Iron’ via an in-ring clash. If that’s not all, Shannon Briggs has also desired to face Mike Tyson.

Now, it’s up to who the ‘Baddest Man’ wants to fight. As Tyson has several tasks (his business ventures) to look after outside the ring, it’s still up in the air whether we will see him fight again or not.
