Adrian King has had only three fights since his professional debut – stepping stone after stepping stone after stepping stone. When you add the number of losses his opponents had before they faced him in the ring, it amounts to 56! By that figure alone, you can guess the sort of difficulty he has so far faced. However, manager Curtis Woodhouse argues that Adrian is the king of all and is a better boxer than Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua were at 19!
Ok, why don’t we have a look at Adrian King’s debut against Vincenzo Anzalone? Anzalone weighed in at 305lbs and was out of shape! Although Anzalone arrived with only one victory against seventeen losses on his resume and showed signs of fatigue early, Adrian hesitated and only won via PTS after four rounds. Also, yes, he knocked out Andrea Pesce. But wasn’t Pesce 39 and completely out of shape at 255lbs? But, manager Woodhouse’s words are high-sounding!
On being asked how soon Adrian King could win a world title, Woodhouse said, “We just concentrate on him [Adrian King] and his development. Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, none of them [were] anywhere near as good as him at 19.” He went on to highlight it was fun training King.

“So, if he keeps developing which he will, he is a very easy person to train. He just does whatever you ask him to do. Very dedicated, never miss his training,” added manager Woodhouse who has a three-year contract with King. By 2030, he even expected Woodhouse to win a title in the sport.
“I think by the time he’s 25, he’ll be the Heavyweight champion of the world and probably still have a lot of development to do,” he concluded. Speaking of development, Adrian King sparred with Martin Bakole!
