The keenly awaited matchup between the former five-division boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather, and YouTube personality, Logan Paul, appears to have met a lifeline and is close to being sealed officially. Although we are yet to receive the fight date, Mayweather has assured one and all that he will reschedule the event.
Initially, it was supposed to happen on February 20 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. However, it didn’t materialize, and the matchup fell off-charts. Adding to that, neither side spoke much about the event.
But Floyd Mayweather has returned to the headlines by revealing the possible host cities for his comeback fight. According to Michael Benson, the undefeated boxer is looking forward to hosting his comeback in either Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas, or Atlanta. Hence, both the American big shots will possibly collide in their home country.

The USA has already opened its doors to the live audience. The upcoming UFC 261, headlined by ‘Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal 2’ will happen in Florida amid the crowd. While several counties are still to activate crowd gatherings, Mayweather can return amid a full house in America.

44-year-old Floyd Mayweather hasn’t appeared in professional competition since 2017. After claiming his 50 win against Conor McGregor, he fought Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition in Japan. As he will rust off over four years’ inactivity, Mayweather has expressed his interest in fighting other Internet stars over professional boxers.
The Hall of Fame Inductee, Floyd Mayweather called out Logan Paul, Jake Paul, and rapper 50 Cent via social media to fight him at exhibitions this year. Although many professional boxers are still willing to fight him, the former champion doesn’t intend to step up.
