Alvarez has bagged the WBO belt from Saunders and has added it alongside his WBC, WBA, Ring Magazine titles. Hence he is just one more title away from being the undisputed unified super middleweight champion.
To attain the stature, Alvarez will have to face an unbeaten champion in Caleb Plant. While the Mexican star has had two fights this year already, he is targeting his third in September.
