The American professional wrestler, Michael Austin aka ‘Wardlow’, is a huge boxing fan. The star wrestler is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling and is heading into the most interesting story ‘AEW Double or Nothing, MJF vs WARDLOW. Ahead of this, the superstar joined DAZN for an exclusive interview. While expressing his love for boxing, the 34-year-old made a big claim about Floyd Mayweather and Ryan Garcia.

He said, “Ryan Garcia, a young kid. He’s taking over boxing. Dude, I love watching him box.”

Furthermore, he compared Mayweather with the lightweight contender and added, “Mayweather was very impressive, I grew up with Mayweather too, but that King Ryan, he’s taking over boxing.”

Wardlow grew up watching the former two-time heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Talking about his favorite boxer, Tyson, he iterated, “I remember watching the [Evander] Holyfield fight as we ordered that PPV, and we had a bunch of people over to watch it when he bit his ear. So, I most definitely grew up on Tyson.”

Notably, the rematch between ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ vs former heavyweight great Evander Holyfield is the most talked-about controversial anticipation in the history of boxing.

Comparison between Ryan Garcia and Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather is one of the finest boxers America has ever produced. The champ has earned such a legacy that is beyond appreciation.
