An old picture of everyone’s favorite ‘Rocky’ movie cast again resurfaced on the Internet. Anything related to ‘Rocky’ gets a lot of attention. A Facebook page named, ‘the JCVD family’ shared the photo of the Rocky crew and co-stars including Sylvester Stallone on their Facebook page.
Rocky is such a movie that will never be old enough, and people enjoy the movie to this day. Stallone made a huge impact in the sports drama genre of movies with this film. But his journey was not so easy. However, before going deeper into the history of this movie let’s find out who is in this picture.

Rocky Co-stars with Sylvester Stallone
The picture shared on the Facebook page boasts a whole bunch of celebrities. Apart from Sylvester Stallone another key character of the movie got a place in the picture.
In the picture, the center of attraction is our favorite ‘Rocky Balboa’, Sylvester Stallone. He is posing in a yellow boxing robe and standing, both arms lifted as if he has been announced as a winner of a boxing match.
Behind Stallone on the right-hand corner, there is another major character of the movie, Carl Weathers aka ‘Apollo Creed’. He is one of the major characters in the movie.
To Stallone’s right is Academy awards nominated actress Talia Shire, or ‘Adrian Pennino’, who later became Rocky Balboa’s girlfriend in the movie.
Then to Stallone’ left is ‘Cut man’, the character who was beautifully portrayed by the veteran actor Al Sivani.
In the furthest left-hand corner of Stallone is Burt Young who played ‘Paul Pennino’, Rocky Balboa’s brother-in-law.
However, making a film with such stars was not an easy task for Stallone to manage. However, he was so dedicated to the film that he did it gracefully.

Sylvester Stallone witnessed many hard days in his life before the movie hit the silver screen. He used to live in one of the tiniest apartments in New York. And one day, he witnessed Muhammad Ali fighting Chuck Wepner in 1975, and he wrote the script in just 3 days.
But Stallone did not have enough money to execute this. When Stallone was looking for producers to produce the movie, he was offered $360,000 to sell the script with a condition that he wouldn’t play the protagonist Rocky Balboa. Stallone also sold his dog, Butkus because he didn’t have any money
When Rocky became successful, he bought back Butkus again.
