In the ’90s some movies were made that made an indelible mark in the history of cinema, and Sylvester Stallone’s iconic creation “Rocky” is one such movie. Although the movie was released 47 years ago, for all of those who watched it at that time, the memory of the movie is still fresh. The movie was so inspiring that not only movie fanatics but the boxing community also accepted it as a landmark film.

However a new photo of ‘Rocky Balboa’ with the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter went viral on the internet. An unofficial fan page of Rocky Balboa shared the picture on Facebook. Until the time of reporting the news, the picture was viewed by thousands and got over 3K likes. And fans went crazy over the picture.

‘Rocky Balboa’ and ‘Wonder Woman’, both are strong characters, who are inspirational to men and women worldwide. ‘Rocky’ tells the story of an underdog boxer, Rocky Balboa. He rose to fame and became the champion, with his hard work, dedication, and determination.

On the other hand, ‘Wonder Woman’ is a fictional character, a female superhero from the DC universe and she represents female power. Wonder Woman first appeared in DC comics in 1941 and Lynd Carter was the first woman to play the fictional character on the big screen.

However, both movie stars are also great friends. On various occasions, they have praised each other and there are multiple pictures of them together.

However, the picture which went viral was a combination of a new and old picture. When you look on the top, there is Sylvester Stallone and Lynda Carter from an event at Washington DC Gala, while the smaller ones are the pictures of the character that they played, ‘Rocky Balboa’ and ‘Wonder Woman’.

Sylvester Stallone wanted to give Inked tribute to Wonder Woman

Sylvester Stallone once wanted to give an inked tribute or tattoo to Lynda Carter or Wonder Woman. As Stallone was going through a rough patch in his relationship with his wife Jennifer Flavin last year, he wanted to alter her tattoo, and cover it with that of Lynda Carter.  Eventually, he replaced the tattoo with Butkus his dog.

Sylvester Stallone is synonymous with ‘Rocky’ and without him the movie would never be the phenomenon that it is today. Also, Lynda Carter played a huge part in popularizing Wonder Woman.
