The actor had made his cancer diagnosis public in August, after which Foxx went to meet the actor. The two had known each other since their college days at USIU in San Diego, California, and continued their friendship even after both achieved fame.

After his diagnosis, the actor wrote in a post, “Today I’m finally at a place to share because my faith is getting stronger. I have a loving family and the best friends in the entire world. You know who you are. From my Mom to J Foxx and everybody in between. I love you wholeheartedly. We are cut from the same cloth and that cloth is the human condition. Remember …’faith is the last thing you can lose.’ I’m not about to lose that.”

Other than his recent films with Tarantino, Jefferson even appeared in two episodes of the sitcom ‘The Jamie Foxx Show’ back in 1998. But did you know Jefferson always had a flair to be in front of the camera? Back in September 2022, his mother shared a photograph of Keith, modeling when he was a young boy.

He was seen wearing a tuxedo and had a bright smile.
