Two-time former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is one of the most well-known figures in sports. The boxer is a legend and many people around the world look up to him as a hero. However, being renowned has drawbacks and ‘AJ’ experienced the same after he got taunted.

The video showed Joshua standing in front of students at Loughborough University and giving them a reality check. Giving them a lesson, ‘AJ’ said, “Remember you’re running your mouth because when I bring people up here and I start cracking your glass jaws, none of you will like it. When your jaw starts breaking, people start chasing you out of this uni. None of you will like it. Watch your mouths because you don’t know who you’re talking to sometimes.”

The boxer also added he’s not into all the “Public eye bulls**t”.

What happened at the Loughborough University campus?

While strolling past their building, Anthony Joshua was supposedly booed by a group of students. They reportedly accused him of avoiding a battle with Tyson Fury on purpose.

A source told TheSun, “Lots of profanity and abusive language was chucked at him while the students hid in an upstairs window. They picked on the wrong man.”

Fans occasionally target celebrities for no reason, and ‘AJ’ did not take it lying down. Perhaps he had no other choice and could not let it slide just because he is a public figure.

On the other hand, a seasoned athlete like Joshua is welcomed as a guest at numerous events and gatherings. He was recently invited to a question and answer session at The Oxford Union. The audience admired how humble and open he was about his work.

The boxer is currently focusing on his forthcoming battle against Oleksandr Usyk. This will be their second fight, and the fans are quite excited. Only time will tell how the battle plays out.
