Teofimo Lopez successfully returned to the ring with his latest victory over Josh Taylor. Lopez displayed a dominating performance and is now the WBO World (Super) Lightweight champion in professional boxing. Before Lopez locked horns with Taylor, iFL TV interviewed Bob Arum and sought his perspective on the fight. The 91-year-old expected an old-fashioned battle and assured Lopez and Taylor would not disappoint the fans.
While Arum expected an “entertaining” bout, Teofimo Lopez Sr. publicly declared that his son would outbox Taylor inside the ring. In fact, he claimed Teo to be the best boxer while talking to Bill Haney. Whether or not he met Arum’s expectations, with his latest performance, Lopez certainly defended his father’s statements.
