Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury is turning out to be one of the freshest and most intense rivalries the world has ever seen. Usyk’s shocking win to claim the unified heavyweight championship in May set the stage for their highly anticipated rematch, scheduled for December 21, 2024, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be an epic showdown between two of the sport’s top heavyweights.
The Gypsy King, Tyson Fury, has been vocal about getting his revenge, while The Cat, Oleksandr Usyk, never misses a chance to mock Fury. The man from Ukraine was rocking a bald look while wearing a black suit with black gloves and a red tie. He was also carrying a briefcase with him and refused to show what was inside it initially.

As the anxiety in the room increased, Usyk finally decided to open the briefcase to reveal a picture inside. He took the picture to Tyson Fury and asked the latter to sign it without showing it to the audience.
Fury chuckled before signing the picture, and as the unified champion was putting it again in the briefcase, he was asked to show it to everyone. With a cheeky expression on his face, Usyk said, “You will find it tomorrow on eBay,” as he revealed the picture to be Usyk punching Fury in the face during their first fight. There was visible laughter in the hall as everyone enjoyed the banter.

Fury to dress up as James Bond as fans demand revenge
A fan wrote, “Bro is becoming a top troll,” while remembering everything that Usyk has done since winning the belt to mock Fury. In September, Usyk met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the award ceremony for Olympic athletes. The unified heavyweight champion showcased his belt to the president and called Fury “our fat London friend,” mockingly.
Another fan demanding retaliation from The Gypsy King wrote, “Gonna need Fury dressed up as James Bond after this,” to match the expectations that Usyk has created with his latest look.

A fan had a different idea about Usyk’s costume as he wrote, “He dressed like hitmans body guard. 💂.” Whether the user was trying to mock the champion for his look or was referencing to Samuel L. Jackson’s movie is yet to be known, but the look surely took his attention.
Another fan wrote, “Is Tyson fury really getting mogged this badly?” referencing how speechless Fury has been since the defeat. While Usyk has been constantly mocking the 34-1-1 boxer since the defeat, there has been very little retaliation from Fury’s side. This quiet demeanor by Fury has led the fans to wonder whether The Gypsy King is deliberately silent or he doesn’t have any answers.
A fan enjoying this whole rivalry wrote, “Pure cinema,” indicating how intense all of this has been.
