“Pray for UNLV”: Floyd Mayweather’s Daughters and Protege Join Hands in Mourning as They Pay Tribute to 3 Dead in Las Vegas Shooting

A tragic incident unfolded at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, when a gunman opened fire on Wednesday, claiming the lives of three individuals and leaving at least one person injured. The shooting occurred around noon at the Frank and Estella Beam Hall, housing the Lee Business School. The unsettling event resonates deeply in a city that faced one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history just six years prior.

The assailant also lost his life in the incident, and a lot of people mourned the death of the victims. In those people, were Floyd Mayweather‘s two daughters and his young protege boxer. All of them shared an Instagram Story where they paid their homage to all the people who had lost their lives in the tragic incident.

Mayweather’s daughters and protege send heartful wishes to shooting victims

After the dreadful news of the shooting, the Grace City Church shared an Instagram Post where they requested their followers to pray for the victims of the incident. They wrote in bold letters, “PRAY FOR UNLV”, and in the caption, they spoke about how their hearts are with them and their loved ones. They wrote, “Our hearts, prayers, and thoughts are with every student, professor, member of faculty, parent, and first responder.”

In the end, they also added, “Please continue to pray for UNLV during these hard times.” Well, this post was first shared by Iyanna Mayweather, the eldest daughter of Floyd Mayweather. Then, it was also shared by Jirah Mayweather, and in the end, even Curmel Moton took the help of the post to let his fans know about the atrocity.

Mayweather’s daughters very well resonate with the experience of being the family to the victim of the shooting, as a few years ago, even Floyd Mayweather got involved in a similar situation.

A close shave for Floyd Mayweather 

In a harrowing incident, Floyd Mayweather’s dedicated bodyguard recounts the heroic act of saving the legendary boxer from a drive-by shooting. Mayweather, along with his entourage known as ‘The Money Team,’ was in Georgia for an event at the Medusa nightclub when the attack unfolded. Despite the perilous situation, the iconic fighter emerged unscathed, a testament to the quick and protective response of his vigilant bodyguard.

His bodyguard, Greg La Rose, took a bullet for him as they tried to escape the ambush and rush out of the club. Furthermore, he explained in an interview, “It was an absolute ambush, you don’t know where it’s coming from. And as I was going down between the seats, I felt one go into my leg on the inside of my left leg.”
