When Mike Tyson stepped up to fight Jake Paul, one concern plagued every boxing fan. How was the American boxer going to do it without putting his health at risk? Despite his hard-hitting, smoking punching bags with thud videos, the fans remained anxious. Their worst fears came true when reports of the former heavyweight champion’s health emergency on a flight erupted on the internet and pushed the fight to a later date. However, since then, the fans have remained skeptical about his health, and the boxer’s latest video does very little to comfort them.

You must have seen ‘Iron Mike’s recent wheelchair pictures. Those date back a couple of years, and the reason is sciatica, which affects his speech and mobility. That’s not it. Tyson has had troubles with his hips, and the visuals of him walking with a cane to events have also broken the internet. So, when the heavyweight boxer turned to his Instagram handle and posted a promotional video about an energy brand, fans could spot the worrying signs in the video.

The 57-year-old, promoting LFGO, appeared a mere shadow of his healthy self and seemed less energetic and without any enthusiasm. Maybe the ulcer flare-up has done a number on him, and he has yet to recover. Who knows? Tyson declared in the video, “Want to knockout Jake Paul after waiting a little longer. It’s ok, I’m energized for it. I have partnered with LFGO. Let’s do it, baby. Cleaner way to get energy.”

But fans didn’t believe so. The demeanor, speech, and lack of exciting energy. All painted an ominous picture for the fans, who then took to the comment section, expressed their concerns, and issued advice.

Fans want Mike Tyson to retire!

One fan asked the Brooklyn native to pay attention to his health and heart first. Since the ulcer flare-up incident, the fans have seen less of Tyson, as he continues to recover. They wrote, “Please take care of your health and your heart.”

A user noticed the lack of zeal from the usually pumped-up Tyson. In addition, they continue to invoke his health and his boxing legacy to ensure Tyson drops the fight with ‘The Problem Child’. They pleaded, “He looks exhausted man…Mike you have nothing to prove. Don’t do the fight. You’re almost 60…don’t entertain that Clown. Him even being in the same as you is an insult to boxing.”

A comment solely focused on Tyson’s voice, which shuttered and wasn’t fluent. They said, “His voice sounding sick lol.”

Someone vented their frustration about the recent trajectory of Tyson. They believed the fight was a mismatch, and the recent medical emergency of ‘Kid Dynamite’ had dented any passion they had in the fight. They declared, “slowly losing respect for Mike, this fight was already a shit show but i was gonna watch it just in case, once it got pushed back because Mike had medical issues and now im seeing product promos and shit i completely lost interest.”

A fan drew attention to Tyson’s growing age and, with it, the risk of growing health scars. In addition, they blasted Paul for pushing Tyson to accept the fight, who then was trying to put his body on the line. They noted, “why he looking older and older every day closer to the fight shame on that young punk for doing this to mike his body is telling him nah but hes out there telling it yes.”

A comment asked Tyson to retire before he hurt himself preparing for the fight against a 30-year-younger boxer. The dangers also ran high inside the squared circle. They penned, “Mike needs to retire before he gets badly hurt!!”
