Ahead of his fight against Joseph Parker, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ turned to social media to send a motivational yet ominous message to Parker. The fight will unfold on 23 December in Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Turning to Instagram, the Tuscaloosa native shared a clip promoting the fight. In the clip, Wilder said, “I hope you staying focused, you know because everything is on the line for you. It’s all about timing. Your time is almost up. Whatever happens, remember you asked for this. So if you ask, you shal receive the worst thing of your life. I am gonna beat you up, and then I am gonna knock you out.” As the post started circulating on the platform, the boxing world became giddy with excitement.

Since the post went live on Instagram, the post has collected over 8K hearts and nearly 200 comments expressing their excitement. While some motivated Wilder, others decided Parker’s fate right then and there.

Before the Wilder vs. Parker fight was confirmed, the Tuscaloosa native was in the talks to face other contenders. Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou were the biggest names on that list. However, in a recent interview with Lucky Block, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ revealed a potential fight with Francis Ngannou that was supposed to happen first.
“Me and Francis were supposed to fight first, but because of different circumstances, it didn’t happen,” said Wilder. He later went on to suggest that participating in a boxing match was better for him. “But it’s cool because it was better for him to go and participate in a boxing match,” said Wilder.
