According to the latest reports of World Boxing News, Wilder is ranked higher than Anthony Joshua. There are several reasons for these rankings. On the other hand, fans have raged out their opinions supporting their views in the comment section.

The painful truth of Deontay Wilder

Some fans were in the favor of the rankings, whereas some were not. This led to a hassle in the comments section. Let’s take a look.

A significant comment shows a ‘painful truth’ about Deontay Wilder. It shows the opinion of the fans that ‘The Bronze Bomber’ will knock out Anthony Joshua if they fight. Moreover, Eddie Hearn, the promoter, will avoid this as he won’t sign AJ for this match.

“painful truth is that Bronze Bomber is better than Joshua my honest opinion, he Ko AJ if they fight. It would be a great night for boxing fans. I don’t think tho Edward II Hearn would allow this matchup.”

A Joshua supporter doesn’t agree with the rankings, comparing the quality of the opponents that both the boxers have faced in their careers.

“When you look at the quality of both fighters’ wins, it really makes no sense for Wilder to be so high. His resume reads very average based on the fighters he’s beaten, whereas AJ has consistently fought and beaten highly ranked fighters.”

The comment indicates that Joshua’s 26 bouts were against more quality boxers than Wilder’s 45 bouts.

To support Wilder’s ranking, a fan states a fact about Wilder facing all the opponents who have challenged him, but on the contrary, Joshua ducked some of them, including Wilder.

“Deontay Wilder took on anyone who would fight him. Joshua ran scared from everyone including Wilder.”

A Wilder fan comes up with a prediction of both the heavyweights facing each other in a battle.

“Wilder is a one trick pony. But it’s a trick that is enough to beat most fighters. I just couldn’t see Joshua getting into rounds 6-7 without having a massive shot landing on him.”

Wilder has a knockout percentage of 91.11%, which makes the fan think Joshua won’t last over 6 -7 rounds if he faces Wilder.

Some more fans reacting to the rankings

On the contrary, to Wilder’s support, an AJ fan turns up in the comment section supporting Joshua by talking about Wilder’s defeat against Tyson Fury.

“Wilder would not be able to land a flush shot on a decent boxer. This is why I don’t think that fury is not as good as everyone says he is because Wilder has landed on him 4 times from memory I think. AJ better than Wilder by miles.”

The AJ fan supported by addressing that Fury is hyped and it is not an achievement to defeat Wilder.
