Let’s set the scene: A Twins fan dressed in an all-black outfit, and a Padres fan in a white tank top engaged in a punchup in the presence of an onlooking crowd. The reason for the confrontation — not known! It was probably the win the Padres scored over the Minnesota Twins. Regardless, the guy in the tank top didn’t seem to know the basic rule of boxing: always keep your guard up! Judging by the footage, he was too sure of his bobbing and weaving skills.

Firstly, the man in black threw a 1-2 combination that the guy in white expertly dodged. High on confidence, the guy wearing the white tank top taunted the guy dressed in black. Tensions were at an all-time high, and the man in the black t-shirt again threw a flurry of punches which the man dodged again, expertly bobbing and weaving.
Overjoyed by the slickness with which he dodged the punches, the man wearing white shorts taunted him further. However, the third time luck didn’t favor him. The man dressed in all black closed the distance and tagged him with a series of lunging haymakers which caught the man in white multiple times, all the while a woman in the Padres jersey kept trying to pull back the man in white away from the confrontation.

The overconfidence of the man in white cost him dearly.
Nonetheless, both fans were thrown out of the game by the concerned authorities and the San Diego police took an incident report at the game. Fortunately, no arrests were made, and both parties did not press any charges against each other.

Next time, keep your hands up and your ego down.”
