Oscar De La Hoya, to say the least, has a unique way of supporting his favorite team ahead of the Super Bowl. The NFL event between Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers has fans making their bets and cheering their team on. Which side is De La Hoya on?

The Golden Boy promoter tagged the Chiefs in a clip that he posted on his X account earlier today. While the clip seemingly taken by his girlfriend, Holly Sonders, had no apparent relation to the match or any kind of prediction, it certainly did make the fans add some hilarious comments under the post. What was the clip really about?

Captioned “No fu*ken privacy in this home lol”, the clip featured the promoter himself in a red t-shirt and white underwear playing virtual golf in his room. Sonders, eager to capture the moment, comes into the room recording the promoter busy in his game. Oblivious of Sonders having snuck in with a camera, he immediately gets shy and runs for cover when he discovers that she is recording him.

The clip which garnered 83 thousand views also had 109 comments, most of which were from fans surprised to see De La Hoya in such a state. They were not hesitant to let their opinions known.

Fans bash the Golden Boy over absurd clip

While some believed it was staged, some could not get over the white tight pants the former champion had on.

“You can’t convince me this isn’t staged after posting it lol” said one fan.

Another fan found the clip too amusing. “My week is made just watching this” he said.

“No privacy… Then proceeds to post it on twitter” said another, accusing De La Hoya of being hypocritical.

Another fan defended him saying “I mean, let’s be honest. Every man would like to play video games in their underwear alone.”

“No skip leg day cabron” said another who noticed the boxer’s legs.

While most comments were in good humor, some were also of the opinion that the clip was better off lying in his gallery than on his X account.
