Amidst all these developments, the former boxer and elite promoter has divulged on social media how he has been feeling lately. Amidst the perpetual eye of the storm, De La Hoya has never shied away from being himself in the public eye.

Oscar has an array of achievements to boast about. In his reign in the boxing ring from 1992 to 2008, De La Hoya racked up 10 different world championship titles. His professional record at the time of his retirement was 39-6-0. Out of his 39 victories, 30 were knockouts. He is notoriously known to have accumulated about $700 million in the years 1997 and 1998, when he took the global top spot. He hung up his gloves in 2009 and started his own promotion company, Golden Boy Promotions.
