Past few months, ‘Golden Boy’ has immersed himself in grilling boxing training and astonishing workouts. He credited Mike Tyson several times and asserted that the latter inspired him to turn his attention towards returning to the sport.

Recently, ES News released a training video of the former lineal champ, where he’s doing rigorous core workouts like a 20-year-old.

This video struck every boxing fans’ eye as De La Hoya is seen putting his best shot in these preparations.

Moreover, he shares details of his progress on his official social handles to lure his fans.

‘Golden Boy’ last fought in 2008 against the Filippino Senator, Manny Pacquiao. Although the former lost this bout, he etched his name in the history books forever. Also, this fight is still regarded as a passing of the baton.

Ever since then, De La Hoya turned into a full-time boxing promoter and enjoyed the business vertical of boxing. But since then, the 48-year-old has developed a fresh interest in competing. He will now only look to take giant strides and give his best hit again.

When is Oscar De La Hoya actually coming back to the game?

A few months back, ‘Golden Boy’ added that he will make his return to the game on July 3 against an undisclosed opponent.
