Talking about the relationship and how it has helped him, Oscar said, “I finally feel loved. I’ve been through a lot, man. And it’s not easy to survive this world. It’s not easy to survive what I’ve been through since I was six years old.” He further made it clear that it’s not easy to be on top of the world while going through a lot in your life.

Oscar De La Hoya reflected on how things began changing since the day Sonders entered his life and how everything is going back to the “roots.” La Hoya made it known that he feels at peace with himself. He even called Sonders his “best friend” and expressed happiness over being with her every day.
