The former six-weight class champion Oscar De La Hoya is going through big chaos. The Olympic gold medalist has received an offer that could make him a billionaire. But he is unable to reach the conclusion, as in exchange the former champ has to sell his promotion company ‘Golden Boy Promotions’ that he founded in 2002. Since then, the 49-year-old has invested massive energy to establish it as a leading promotion company in the sport of boxing.
Certainly, the stakes are high. Either continue his promoting venture and go down in history as a Hall of Famer promoter or sell the company and become a billionaire.
Amid heavy confusion, ‘The Golden Boy of Boxing’ took to Twitter and wrote, “Just received a 10 figure offer to sell @GoldenBoyBoxing what should I do?”
