As of now, the lightweight stars are expected to bash it out in the squared circle on April 15. In a recent interview, Oscar De La Hoya talked about the upcoming fight between Garcia and Davis and left the fans with something to think about.

Oscar De La Hoya is ‘not so sure’ about the fight

In an interview with FightHype, Oscar De La Hoya was asked about the fight between the lightweight titans. The interviewer said, “Tank and Ryan have signed the contract, and now only Dazn has to sign it.” ‘The Golden Boy’ responded, “I don’t believe it until the fighters announce it themselves.”

The interviewer asked, “When would the fight be announced latest?” to this question, De La Hoya replied, “fighters are already training; everything is already set. But the fighters have to announce it themselves.” De La Hoya has made it very clear that the fighters should announce the fight themselves, and only then he would believe the news.

 

According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, Both the fighters have signed the contracts, and now the contract is with Dazn, who is responsible for broadcasting the fight. No official announcements have been made regarding the fight, but the fans can expect it anytime now.
