There is no denying that former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, has had an interesting career; one that can be defined by many iconic moments. Recently, UFC welterweight champion, Jorge Masvidal, shared a deleted video highlighting one of those moments of Tyson’s career.

Masvidal shared a video on his Facebook page titled ‘One of the most legendary moments ever!’. In the video, Tyson was seen sharing invaluable information with a group of fighters from The Ultimate Fighter. It should also be mentioned that this group included UFC legend, Georges St-Pierre.
Sharing his lessons about life, Tyson said, “What I have learned late in life is. You can change your mind and your life when you want to. You could turn into a jerk today, you say I’m gonna be a jerk.”
He further added, “We are all fighters here, we fight for a living. But, that’s not who we are. We’re playboys, we’re gangsta, we’re tough guys. We could be whoever we want to be.”
He also advised the fighters to keep their fighting spirit intact, even in the face of defeat.
The video also included a montage of all 44 of Tyson’s brutal knockouts.
The art of a perfect knockout with Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson is known for being one of the hardest punchers in the sport. The sheer power he exuded with each punch made him one of the scariest opponents during his prime. And this raw power also paved the way for some sensational knockouts.
Tyson faced Larry Holmes at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey on January 22nd, 1988. The fight billed ‘Heavyweight History’ was one of the most iconic fights of Tyson’s career.
Moreover, the fight also meant a lot to Tyson personally. He wished to avenge the loss of his idol, Muhammad Ali, against Holmes. Tyson emerged as the victor with a stellar 4th-round TKO.

One of the fastest knockouts of his career was against Michael Spinks. The duo faced each other at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 27th, 1988. Spinks was hit with a left-right combination in the first 90 seconds of the fight. Tyson was declared the winner after Spinks was unable to get up after the KO.
