Tyson Fury has become a household name in boxing. The WBC heavyweight champion is one of the most successful heavyweights ever with an undefeated record. Named after the legendary boxer Mike Tyson, Fury became the heavyweight champion for the first time after beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. The English boxer has defied many odds to be where he is today and to retain his top spot in the sport. He last fought in 2021, winning his bout against Deontay Wilder via eleventh-round knockout. So many sports achievements can be blinding for the one who achieves them. Fury believes no man can beat him and has put himself in the realm of boxing legends.
Recently, in an interview, Tyson Fury made some strong claims about himself and his strength as a boxer. But the fans took no time to humble the champ.

Tyson Fury has been undefeated in his career until now, with only one draw. The ‘Gypsy King’ is not an easy opponent to get through in the ring. So it is not odd to think that Fury will never be defeated, but there should be room left for the benefit of the doubt.
Tyson Fury: "I believe that I could beat any man born from his mother in any era, in any decade, in any century. In one-on-one combat, I would beat them in a fight. I've never met anybody who could beat me yet and I don't intend to." [@FoxifyTrade]

Michael Benson shared an excerpt from Fury’s interview with Foxify Trade on Twitter; Fury made some bold claims about himself. He said he believed he could beat ‘any man born from his mother in any era or decade’. That’s not something one hears every day.
Further, he said that he could beat ‘anyone in a fight in one on one combat’. If this wasn’t enough, he added, “I’ve never met anybody who could beat me yet, and I don’t intend to.”
Fury believes he has such strength that no man can withstand his might inside the ring.
Fury doesn’t hold back from sharing his thoughts with the world, so this should not shock the fans. Undoubtedly, Fury is one the most confident boxers you will ever witness. And why not, his trash talking in press conferences has always been backed up by scintillating action inside the squared circle. With no defeats in his record, some would say he has bragging rights.
However, there are rumors of a potential fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, and the boxing world awaits the announcement. Fans did not hold back from responding to these claims by the ‘Gypsy King.’
Fans react to Fury’s claims
Safe to say there are fans out there who would dispute his GOAT status in the boxing world.

DaveZ thinks that there were better fighters who would’ve won against Fury.
Big George Foreman, Ali, Lennox Lewis, Vitaly Klichko. Those are just on top of my head. Tyson Fury is a great fighter and certainly the best heavyweight in this era but there were better fighters who would have won.

Chris thinks that Fury would be a snack for Lennox Lewis
Tyson Fury would be a lunch time snack for Lennox Lewis. There is no denying that Tyson is a talented fighter but he is far from being the best of all time. Wilder and Vlad aside his resume is too weak for consideration at this point.

Chris Morgan thinks Fury’s claim is ‘hard to argue against’.
I actually find this hard to argue against. In terms of a peak @Tyson_Fury His innate physical attributes, combined with his boxing ability make him an incredibly tough proposition for anyone to beat. If he was more active I’m not sure it would even be much of a discussion
