As Errol Spence Jr. recently appeared on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, ‘Kid Dynamite’ offered the former instructions on how to beat Terence Crawford in the ring. Having closely studied Crawford’s fights, Mike Tyson realized what all the opponents that ‘Bud’ faced did wrong. Likewise, the former heavyweight champion of the world told Spence Jr. what he needed to avoid and execute while in the ring with ‘Bud’.
While Mike Tyson has analyzed Crawford’s fights, Errol Spence Jr. claimed that he never watched a whole ‘Bud’ fight. “At this level, I don’t because I’m a fan of boxing, so I don’t watch Terence Crawford fight 100 times, just watch him randomly sometimes,” ‘The Truth’ added. Anyway, Mike Tyson feels if Spence Jr. took a particular approach against Crawford, he would have a better chance at winning.

As per his observations, most of the boxers that Terence Crawford has faced take too long to fire their shots. This leads Crawford to occupy space and get comfortable inside the ring. “Like I see fighters with ‘Bud’, they start modelling him and watching each other. I mean, once you do that, you’re f****d up,” explained Mike Tyson. Hence, Tyson believes Spence Jr. needs to “go right on him and start pitching punches” if he wishes to “beat” Crawford, who claims to have achieved the best version of himself as an athlete.

As per Tyson’s belief, if Errol Spence Jr. came out and just pitched the punches, Terence Crawford would face problems in the ring. “If you come out and you just pitch the punches, he gonna have some problems,” Mike Tyson firmly stated. “You have to go in there and start pitching at him and see what happens,” he emphasized. In addition, Tyson argued that if Spence Jr. started pitching his punches, it was most likely that Terence Crawford would “cover up“. However, Spence Jr. felt otherwise and said, “I don’t think he would do that“. Following Errol’s assertion, everyone laughed.
