He said,  “I’ve talked to Oscar, I’ve talked to Eric, who were good friends, and they would like to make that fight. It depends on their relationship with Ryan, and I don’t want to get into it because I don’t know enough about it. But if they can truly produce Ryan, that would be a huge fight for both guys, and I would certainly be interested in it.”

Notwithstanding the present situation, it looks like Ryan has strong intentions of making this fight happen.

In an interview with Fight Hype, Teofimo Lopez informed that Ryan Garcia DM’ed him regarding the fight. As Lopez has established his name in the light welterweight division by his recent win, he is now in high demand. So, according to Lopez, Garcia is quite interested in fighting Lopez.

He said, “Ryan DM’d me and everything. Bro’s desperate for a payday. He DM’d me after the Josh Taylor fight. I deleted it. Ryan just said that if I’m looking forward to it, ‘We could make some good money, and we can make the fight happen.”
