Jeffries took on his ‘X’ account to react to a video of a trainer constantly hitting his student while training him. “What’s wrong with this trainer?” stated Jaffa while seething with anger. The 9-0-1 boxer lost his mind when he saw the trainer head-butting the student. He stated, “Headbutt as well. Just when you thought you can’t get any stupider, he throws a headbutt in,” while trying to comprehend the situation.
Lock the trainer up, with all the other idiot trainers that do this (you know who I'm talking about) … and let them do it to each other…#boxing #boxingtraining pic.twitter.com/FajgBiwOh7

It was clear that the Sunderland native was trying to make sense of the situation as he couldn’t understand the need for such heavy blows on the head. “What’s the point? He’s trying to learn some sort of boxing, kickboxing here. Why has he got his hands down like that,” stated Jeffries.
The former Olympian then demanded punishment for the trainer, as he actively put the life of his student at risk. He said, “That trainer should be put in jail,” before commenting on the depleting nature of the fitness and combat training industry. He talked about how young guys put their trust in the trainers to teach them the right things. But according to Jeffries, “this idiot trainer, he doesn’t know what’s right or what’s wrong either. Should be put in jail.”

A scary situation
Last month, Jeffries revealed that he has been dealing with an issue in his scapula and faces a variety of things because of that. He gets tingling sensations in his fingers and hands constantly and he is in constant pain. After going through an MRI and X-ray, the scans revealed early cervical degenerative disc disease with minimal disc height reduction. This situation can make a person susceptible to further chronic diseases.
The situation was alarming for Tony Jeffries as he has not used his head for fights for 8 years now even so, the damage is so severe. Thankfully, he identified the condition early on and will try to solve the issue through treatment. The Sunderland native will now go through sessions of rehabilitation and physical therapies to relieve nerve compressions.
