After Oleksandr Usyk’s historic performance in the rematch against Anthony Joshua, he now has his sights on becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. To do this, he must now either face Tyson Fury or wait for him to relinquish his titles. However, it looks like Fury is ready to return to boxing after he called out both Joshua and Usyk, claiming he could beat them both.

Moreover, Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk also had a warning for The Gypsy King. In an interview with iD boxing after the fight, he was asked to share his thoughts on Fury as he is currently retired.
What followed was a chilling warning from Krassyuk. He told Fury that he would have to prove that he was still the rightful champion or else he will be replaced by Usyk and also asked him to either train for the fight or retire once and for all.
“The Gypsy King, you have to prove that you are a king because you’re gonna be dethroned with another king. Brother train hard or retire now.” He said, looking into the camera.

Usyk already made it clear in the post-fight interview that he wanted to face Fury next. When asked about his thoughts on Fury’s retirement, he claimed that he was sure that Fury has not retired yet. “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet,” said Usyk. He also stated that he was sure that Fury wanted to face him and that he would not step into the ring with anyone other than him.”I’m sure, I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.” He added.
The ball is now in Fury’s court. It is up to him to decide what to do next. Although a fight with Joshua would have been ideal for him, a fight with Usyk can also do well financially. Moreover, this will be a great opportunity for both fighters to go down as the undisputed heavyweight champion, a feat accomplished by only a select few.
