The Kingdom Arena’s light will be shining in full force on December 21 as Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will face each other in one of the biggest main events of the year. The thrilling heavyweight rematch for the unified heavyweight championship will have fans stuck to their screens.

With two of the biggest heavyweights taking on each other, it also leaves an opportunity for the undercard to make a name for themselves. Furthermore, the Riyadh Season event is never about only the fight, it is also about the showmanship. Nothing sounds more dynamic than an electric walkout song that sets the mood for the upcoming bout. While the tracks to be used by boxers are still under wraps, here’s a look at a few songs these boxers have used in the past, offering a glimpse of what they might choose this time around.

Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis

With an astonishing record of 24-2, Serhii Bohachuk would like to bounce back from his previous loss against Vergil Ortiz Jr. The Ukrainian has a tradition of walking out on the music of his compatriot Taras Keen. In 2023, for his fight against Patrick Allotey, the 29-year-old used the beats of ‘He Kiho’ to electrify the crowd.

On the other hand, his opponent, Ishmael Davis, does not have a wide range of reported walk-out songs. However, for his fight with Josh Kelly a few months ago, he used the song ‘Has It Come To This’ by The Streets to send the crowd into a state of euphoria.

Moses Itauma vs. Demsey McKean

With 10 pro victories in just a year-long career, Moses Itauma has taken the boxing world by storm. The 6’2 heavyweight has been a revelation and aims to become the youngest heavyweight champion. He is a dedicated athlete who takes pride in his culture and has often used songs by artists of color for his entrances.

For his fight against Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko in 2023, he used the song ‘Never Too Much’ by Luther Vandross for his entrance. Itauma clinched the WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight championship on Mariusz Wach on 27 July 2024. However, he showed no pressure during the walkout and walked nonchalantly towards the ring to the beats of ‘Jamming’ by Bob Marley.

On the other hand, his opponent, Demsey McKean, uses electrifying music to wake up the crowd. On the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius, McKean used ‘Geni Kameni’ by Croatian singer Marko Perković, known by his stage name Thompson. The energetic beats of the song perfectly captured the towering presence of the 6’6 Aussie.

Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen

No one has put the heavyweight division on notice like ‘The Romford Bull.’ Standing at 6’4, the London native is already a fearsome athlete. However, he often uses his walkout songs to put fear into his opponents’ hearts. For his fight against Danny Whitaker, Fisher used the iconic “Halloween” movie theme song from the slasher franchise. He also uses the song ‘Bosh’ by Be Lucky often as his theme to showcase his dramatic flair.

On the other hand, David Allen, a seasoned heavyweight, is a huge WWE nerd. He often integrates WWE themes in his walkouts. For his fight against Ariel Esteban Bracamonte in 2018, he used Stone Cold Steve Austin‘s theme ‘I Won’t Do What You Tell Me’ by Jim Johnston for his entrance. It would be safe to say that the glass-shattering beat can elevate the mood of any arena. He has also used Shawn Michaels’ theme song ‘Se*y Boy’ for his walk towards the ring. Who knows, maybe this time he will use The Rock’s theme to complete the holy trinity.

Peter McGrail vs. Rhys Edwards

Peter McGrail would finally like to break his shackles by earning a definitive victory on the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk undercard. It has been far too long for the talented Liverpool lad and he would like a statement of victory now. In the past, he has used ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ by Toploader quite constantly as his walkout theme. However, as a proud Everton fan, he has also walked out on his team’s theme ‘Spirit of the Blues,’ showing his unwavering support.

While his opponent Rhys Edwards does not have a long walkout songs list, he often chooses energetic music to rile up the crowd. In his second professional fight at York Hall, he used ‘Plug Walk’ by Rich The Kid, setting a dynamic tone for the bout.

Isaac Lowe vs. Lee McGregor

‘The Westgate Warrior’ has been on a tear recently and has won 4 out of his last 5 bouts. He would like to continue that good run against Lee McGregor and will surely try to intimidate the latter through his songs. Lowe has a sensational walkout songs catalog as his ‘Big Things’ by OD Hunte is considered one of the best. Earlier this year, Isaac Lowe also revealed his official entry song for the ‘Ring Of Fire’ on his Instagram.

Andrii Novytskyi vs. Edgar Ramirez

Just like his alias, Andrii Novytskyi has been on a rampage since his debut last year. In less than 2 years, he has already picked up 13 wins and will eye his 14th victory on December 21. For his pro boxing debut against Gabriel Costa, Novytskyi used the ‘T.N.T’ by AC/DC as his entrance, showing everyone that he means business. Chances are he will use another heavy metal song to fire himself up for the biggest fight of his career.
