Oleksandr Usyk is busy as hell. The 37-year-old unified heavyweight champion is preparing himself for the epic clash with Tyson Fury. However, as it appears, he managed to squeeze in some time out of his packed itinerary to get on board a crucial agenda related to one of his latest ventures.

Not long ago, the Ukrainian champion and his team came up with a unique idea. It enables boxers to have more resources at their disposal. Thus, that will help them come up in their respective careers with much more ease. Keeping that in mind, Ready To Fight (RTF) – a first-of-its-kind social network platform based on blockchain technology was born. Now, the popularity of their innovative applications is surging. So Usyk and the rest of the co-founders added another feather to their cap by bringing in a modern-day boxing icon to enhance their presence as a promotional partner.

Then they emphasized how the collaboration is significant from the perspective of women’s boxing. The groundbreaking step of involving ‘The Blonde Bomber’ will not only push the existing limits but also set the stage for more and more female athletes to become a part of a movement. “This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in women’s boxing, pushing boundaries and pioneering a path for female athletes,” said the RTF.

Finally, they concluded that, together with Ebanie Bridges, Ready To Fight was creating history. It will inspire a whole new generation of female boxers and champions.

Incidentally, per the available reports, RTF had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with WBC last year. Subsequently, they struck another partnership deal with the prestigious boxing news outlet Boxing Social.

Always a Champion

Undoubtedly, Oleksandr Usyk and his team’s decision to select Ebanie Bridges as a brand ambassador could be considered a masterful move, demonstrating their strategic acumen. The Australian boxer, despite suffering a second career loss last December, remains an icon across the globe.

Unlike most boxers, who started fairly at a young age, Bridges was 33 when she found her calling. A qualified educationist, she soon became a force to be reckoned with, winning consecutive Australian Golden Gloves before turning to professional boxing in 2019. Nearly three years after her debut, she became a world champion. However, she lost her crown to the Japanese Miyo Yoshida during the second title defense on December 9.

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury could have settled the undisputed business three days ago, had it not been for the latter’s untimely injury. Now the two will square off again on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
