On September 25th, Oleksandr Usyk will face the biggest heavyweight boxing star of this era, Anthony Joshua. He will collide with the Brit in a world title fight. The challenger, Usyk, is an underdog in this contest for obvious reasons, but he isn’t letting the same hamper his preparations for this fight.
In fact, he’s collaborated with his amateur boxing trainer and Vasyl Lomachenko’s father, Anatoly Lomachenko. As the Ukrainian boxer knows the importance and hype his fight with ‘AJ’ carries, he’s giving his best in his preparations for this high-voltage encounter.
Recently, the Top Rank boss, Bob Arum, interacted with Sky Sports, wherein he discussed Usyk’s collaboration with Anatoly Lomachenko.

He said, “I’m telling you, ‘Don’t think that Joshua is in a cake walk. He has a really tough fight with Usyk, who is a terrific boxer.'”
“His father wouldn’t train anyone else, but he will train Usyk, because Usyk is like family.”
The 34-year-old was a prime cruiserweight before he moved up to the heavyweight division a couple of years back. Like any other heavyweight contender, Usyk, too, had strong aspirations to fight for the heavyweight world title.

Citing that, it won’t be so easy for Usyk to upset the Brit, as Joshua has overcome stylistic challenges before. Despite that, the world will be glued to its TV screens to see how Usyk fares in his fight against ‘AJ’. As Usyk was one of the few boxers to have become undisputed, he will have some backers in September.
