Sunny Edwards talks the talk and walks the walk. After defeating Andres Campos this past Saturday in Wembley Arena, London— Edwards continues his reign as the IBF flyweight champion. Edwards is a talented fighter but also a performer. In the early rounds, Edwards was seen showboating but soon realized Campos is not a fighter to be underestimated. Campos had his moments in the fight, particularly in the third round but it was not enough to give a tough fight to Edwards. However, Edwards was more skillful and had a better fight IQ. He worked to the body of Campos which eventually got him tired in the last few rounds. By the final bell, Edwards had done enough to prove that he is the better boxer. Subsequently, he won a unanimous decision with no controversy. Post the bout, he took to Twitter to reveal his future endeavors.
Apart from him, there are 3 other champions in the flyweight division. Jesse Rodriguez is the WBO champion, Artem Dalakian is the WBA champion and Julio Cesar Martinez is the WBC champion. The IBF champion has to face any of these opponents in the near future to achieve his dreams of unification. Following the fight with Campos, Edwards called out WBO champion Rodriguez, wanting him to be his next opponent on his journey to collect all the belts in the flyweight division. The fans were left impressed with his performance as well as his future and made that evident.

Blows my mind that you don’t see your best work until the cameras play it back in slow motion! – making them miss by cms and landing clean in the same movement.”
