Donaire, 41, turned to his X handle and revealed that a rapper approached his wife but his wife shunned the rapper. The situation soon escalated, and people had to get hold of the former champion before he threw any punches. He also vented his frustration with the violator throwing in the “no disrespect” phrase while disrespecting them.
Another event, rapper was proposing the same sh*t w/ Rache. She told him to gtf away 4m her.Ppl held me bk from punching him.Don't know why he say "it's no disrespect champ. it'll push us both up" like saying no disrespect means u being respectful 🤡 #hollyweird

The 42-8 record holder wrote, “Another event, rapper was proposing the same sh*t w/ Rache. She told him to gtf away 4m her.Ppl held me bk from punching him.Don’t know why he say “it’s no disrespect champ. it’ll push us both up” like saying no disrespect means u being respectful #hollyweird.”
It remains to be seen whether Donaire will share more details of the incident. This is not the first time in months that he has seized headlines for his willingness to throw punches. The Talibon native recently flirted with the idea of fighting Sunny Edwards.

Earlier, Edwards, 28, laid claim to Sivenathi Nontshinga’s IBF flyweight title, despite coming off a loss against Jesse Rodriguez. Edwards jokingly reasoned that he had an IBF ring that entitled him to skip the line. However, this didn’t sit well with Donaire’s wife-manager, who hit back, “Respectfully, that ring doesn’t give you Lord of the Rings powers or anything.”
Donaire then had to jump in to defend both Rachel and Nontshinga’s number 1 contender and his fellow compatriot Cristian Araneta. He responded to Edwards, “Ima tell u respectfully back off. She is defending the Philippine boxer who has worked his way to earn the spot in 108lbs…”

But the trash talk did not end there, and it ended with Donaire throwing a gauntlet at the British fighter. He declared, “But by all means if @SunnyEdwrads wants to ask @EddieHearn to move up to 118 to fight me I’ll wait for the contract.” Soon ‘Showtime’ would express his eagerness to make 118 pounds, and it remains to be seen whether Donaire will fight it out with Edwards this year.
