Sunny Edwards, potentially the “best pound-for-pound fighter in Britain,” in his promoter Eddie Hearn‘s words, as planned, called out Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez following his latest victory over Andres Campos. While still in the ring, Edwards, the unbeaten IBF flyweight title holder, referred to Eddie Hearn and ordered Rodriguez, the current WBO flyweight champion to sign the contract.
Having signed Edwards, Hearn publicly declared “a ready-made unification” bout involving Edwards and Rodriguez given the British boxer beat Andre Campos in the ring. Although Hearn described ‘Bam’ as “an exceptional talent,” on being asked if he would make Edwards favorite against Rodriguez, the promoter said, “Quite possibly so.” Hence, following his victory over Campos, he demanded Rodriguez.

Sign the contract.” “Look, Eddie says, ‘Sign the contract’,” he emphasized.
