Heavyweight great Tyson Fury is backing up IBF lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez ahead of his high-voltage title fight against Vasyl Lomachenko tonight. As per Fury, Lopez is a huge man and is a featherweight with a heavyweight’s body. That said, he doesn’t see Vasyl Lomachenko beating Lopez inside the ring.
Although unified champion Lomachenko is one of the best lightweights on the roster, Fury said that he cannot get over ‘El Brooklyn’ Lopez. While many might disagree with it, Tyson Fury believes it when he says so.
Meanwhile, the lightweight title unification fight between Loma and Lopez has grabbed a lot of attention. People have already taken their corners in the fight, and none of the champions are running out of star supporters.

Tyson Fury supports Teofimo Lopez ahead
In an interaction with the IFL TV, ‘The Gypsy King’ said that he is a fan of Teofimo Lopez. Taking note of Lopez’s last fight, Fury said, “Let me tell you, Richard Commey is a very good f**** fighter, and I am a big fan of him as well, and little Teofimo just walked right in. He is the biggest little tiny man I have seen in my life.”
According to the WBC heavyweight champion, Lopez has got a big body with speed and power included. Thus, Fury doesn’t see him losing against Lomachenko. He added, “He has got two legs like that and he has got my size of body. He is the biggest little man I have ever seen.”
'NO LOMACHENKO’S OR ANYONE WILL BEAT HIM – HE HAS GOT MY SIZE BODY!' 💪🏼

“I gotta back him and say ain’t no 126 -153 pounders can beat him. No Lomachenkos, nobody. [Because] he is a heavyweight with two tiny legs with speed and power, probably it sounds like me as a featherweight.”
While people have already chosen their sides, it’s time for the world champions to put on the action in front of them. No wonder it is expected to be a nail-biting thriller.
