The current IBF interim world welterweight champion Jaron Ennis recently lost his beloved grandfather. Ennis, who fought his last in January against Karen Chukhadzhian, took to Instagram and publicly reported his loss. Taking to Instagram, Ennis shared two photos of his beloved grandfather with him. In only his last fight, Ennis became the interim welterweight champion and looks to have a promising career in the sport of boxing.
So far, Ennis has had a total of 30 professional fights. He is still undefeated in pro boxing, with the nickname ‘Boots’. Out of his 30 impressive victories, 27 arrived by way of a knockout. Needless to say, the unfortunate passing away of his grandfather has affected him and his family and they are looking to recover from this loss.

Jaron Ennis is currently 25 years old and he made his professional debut in the year 2016. Before turning pro, he had a total of 26 amateur fights. Sergey Lipinets, Thomas Dulorme, and Custio Clayton are among the professional fighters he has fought in his career. Following the demise of his grandfather, Ennis shared two photos of him on Instagram. In one photo, Ennis is a grown man standing alongside his grandfather. He wrote, “R.I.P Grandpa Joe Joe.” In the next photo, a young Ennis is seen enjoying a haircut from his grandfather.

“Last few days have been rough for you pop pop but no more suffering. Rest up! We got grandma,” Jaron Ennis wrote. With all the prayers beside him and his family, Ennis will certainly recover and continue to cherish his grandfather’s unforgettable memories.
