Dallas Cowboys went toe-to-toe against the New York Giants this past Friday, November 29. While the NFL world initially joined in to cheer for their favorite team, the Cowboys’ cheerleader stole the spotlight with an exceptional display of her shadowboxing skills.

MiaMightyPinney, who regularly trains with her father, Jordan Pinney, at Elite Fitness gym, was simply enjoying herself while showcasing her shadowboxing skills. Unbeknownst to her, a spectator captured her impressive display on camera just moments before the Dallas Cowboys secured their win—giving Mia a memorable moment that would catapult her into the spotlight.

After the viral clip surfaced, Pinney shared it on her Instagram profile, where it rapidly gained traction, amassing over 250,000 likes. The post caught the attention of several prominent pundits from the boxing and NFL communities, who were impressed by her boxing skills. Some even re-shared the clip on their own Instagram profiles, providing breakdowns and analysis of her technique, further fueling the buzz surrounding Pinney’s abilities.

Pros and fans rally for theMightyfuture

Renowned boxing reporter Elie Seckbach re-uploaded the viral clip garnering heaps of praise for MiaMightyPinney. He stated, Millions and millions of people have been watching Mighty Mia Pinney. She is number one in the nation at 74 pounds, [and] she is also the alternate at 85 pounds. So, here you have her, working hard. Her goal is to make it to the 2028 Olympics for Team USA. Hopefully, boxing [will be] in the Olympics in 2028, but it’s whole another story. But it’s very cool to see.

Emphasizing how important shadowboxing is, Seckbach said, She is a cheerleader, a dance squad, what they call it, she is proud of her, [and] she loves that, but she also loves boxing, she loves training. And anyone who is a fighter, boxing, MMA, or bare-knuckle, knows they shadowbox wherever they go. To conclude, the renowned reporter praised Mia’s shadowboxing skills, stating: She was very impressive, you could see the footwork, you could see crisp punches, you could see all the stuff she has been working on in the gym.”
