Jake Paul announced via his social media handles that he would be fighting Tommy Fury before the end of this year. The fight was a long time coming. Both Jake and Tommy went back and forth all year on their social media handles and even got into a bit of a scuffle when they met face to face for the first time.

Now that this grudge match is finally on, Frank Warren has given us an insight into the fight contract. Jake Paul had initially dared Fury to change his name to ‘Tommy Fumbles’ if he lost and to put it in the contract. However, promoter Frank Warren appeared on iFL TV and squashed all the rumors.

When the interviewer asked him if Fury would really have to change his name to ‘Tommy Fumbles’ if he lost, Warren started laughing.

“No, that’s not in the contract,” Warren said as he kept laughing. He then praised ‘The Problem Child’ for his ability to promote a fight.

He added, “I’ll tell you what. I think Jake Paul is a really good promoter. He’s a very good promoter and you know, he’s fun. There’s no doubt about it. This could be a lot of fun. These two are obviously gonna get at each other but it’s gonna be a fun promotion, there’s no doubt about it.”
