KSI has been accused of using an illegal elbow in his latest fight with Joe Fournier. After suffering a controversial loss to the CEO of Misfits Boxing, Fournier claimed that KSI should be disqualified since he cheated in the match. While Fournier strongly claimed that KSI missed a punch and landed an elbow, the YouTuber-turned-boxer denied the claim saying that “it was so fast“.

According to Fournier, the referee watched the illegal shot and yet remained silent. On the other hand, promoter Kalle Sauerland stated that “it was more of a forearm” that hit Fournier and that there was nothing illegal about it. In this connection, Sauerland even alluded to Liam Smith’s victory over Chris Eubank Jr. and added that it was common in boxing.
KSI opposes the view that he cheated against Joe Fournier in his last fight
After the end of the fight, Fournier spoke to Fred Beck and expressed his disappointment. In his opinion, he had never been cheated like this before in his life. In fact, Fournier went to the extent of declaring that KSI should be disqualified. However, KSI has contested Fournier and others who accused him of cheating. According to his statement, it was a legal but powerful shot that stopped Fournier in the second round of the fight. Michael Benson later tweeted KSI’s statement.
KSI on claims he KO'd Joe Fournier with an elbow: "Nah bro, I hit him with a massive shot and he was dazed, he was scrambling, trying to hold on to me for dear life. I was like, 'Nah, nah, your soul is mine.'"

“Nah bro, I hit him with a massive shot and he was dazed, he was scrambling, trying to hold on to me for dear life,” claimed KSI. “I was like, ‘Nah, nah, your soul is mine,” he added. In fact, KSI even expressed surprise at the claim of using an illegal move against Fournier. The fact that he would use an illegal shot to win a fight was beyond the belief of the CEO of Misfits Boxing. Likewise, he said, “Why would I want to illegally hit him? It just makes no sense.”
