In his podcast, Mike said, “I listen, I have no money, right? We have to be made. I did some show, we made some money, and I just bought a jacket for a 95,000 dollar jacket, but I bought it for 60. My wife had a heart attack. Oh man, I just have to buy my clothes. I have to have my clothes back there,”

Further, this incident highlights Tyson’s struggle with materialism when he was financially challenged. Although the purchase satisfied a desire for luxury, it also revealed the tension between material wants and financial reality.

But I can’t, so I’m never gonna negate materialism, we love it, especially when ultimately at this stage in America, we, they, we started with nothing, so the fact that now we can flaunt that we can walk in abundance, there’s nothing wrong with that. But once you get to that, you realize, oh, I don’t wear them watches no more. Like I’ll do it if we on wild and out or something like it’s costume now.”
