Tyron Woodley never stopped training. Ever since they finalized the Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight, ‘The Chosen One’ had a feeling the fight would not take place. As his intuition turned out to be true, he was primed and ready to step in and replace ‘TNT”, who withdrew due to a lung infection and a broken rib.

In an Instagram live, Woodley revealed how he always knew that they were not going to go through with the fight. Woodley felt him fighting Jake Paul was the only fight to make, as no one wanted to see Paul battle Tommy Fury.

“I told my strength and conditioning coach and I told my boxing coach and I said, this fight ain’t gonna happen.

Woodley continued, “I said, let’s train as if we are fighting for this f****ng fight. I flew him in from Miami and my strength and conditioning coach was already obviously in St. Louis and I literally started training.”

He also credited his spirit and intuition, saying, “Coz one thing I know for sure is my spirit has never been f***ing wrong. My intuition, my alignment.”

Woodley is now all ready to take on Paul on December 18, in Tampa Bay, Florida. Having finally gotten his rematch in the most surprising manner, he will look to avenge his loss and show the world that the last fight was a one-off.

Jake Paul includes a clause for the Tyron Woodley fight

Following their first fight, there were a lot of rumors saying that Paul had included a no knockout clause in the contract in his fight against Woodley. Paul squashed all the rumors, saying there was only a clause that said Woodley could not use the same brand of gloves as ‘The Problem Child’, Grant gloves. To ensure that there are no further rumors, Paul has included a new clause in their December 18 rematch.

“I’m giving him (Tyron Woodley) an extra $500,000 if he can knock me out,” Paul said on his Twitter video, where he announced his fight against Tyron Woodley. ‘The Chosen One’ has not yet confirmed or denied this clause. However, if it is true, then fans cannot question the legitimacy of the fight.
