The long-awaited super-fight finally arrived as both Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua entered the ring on the same night in a huge event in Saudi Arabia. However, while AJ managed to achieve a knockout victory, Wilder didn’t reach such an ending. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ suffered a unanimous decision loss against Joseph Parker. Moreover, it was a lopsided victory, with Parker dominating the fight through and through. But what if the same Wilder had fought with Francis Ngannou?

Prior to the fight, Wilder was looking at a potential fight against either Joshua or Francis Ngannou, who recently suffered a controversial loss against Tyson Fury. However, with this loss, things seem uncertain. A post by Happy Punch put forth a question online that read, “Does Francis Ngannou beat tonight’s version of Deontay Wilder?” As expected, the answer was overwhelming in Ngannou’s victory. Here’s what the fans had to say about the potential fight.

As the post surfaced on social media, fans quickly took the chance to share their opinion on the huge bout. One fan humorously stated, “My nan beats tonight’s version of wilder.”

Another fan claimed, “Easily and I actually want to see this fight next. Ngannou will most likely win dominantly and it’ll propel him towards an actual title shot.”

Meanwhile, one fan doesn’t see any way for Wilder to come out victorious in the fight. He stated, “Ha! Mate, even if Wilder had twelve arms, he wouldn’t stand a smidgen of a chance against the might of Ngannou. Ngannou’s like a steam train, Wilder’s more of a scooter kinda guy.”

Someone else pointed out a way for Ngannou to win. He wrote, “Honestly, it is kinda 60/40 dew’s way but the thing is if Francis improves and just doesn’t let dw land right hand which he always looks for Francis could easily win.”

Another fan called for the former champion to retire. The fan advised, “Yes. Idk what’s happened to Wilder but he should retire before taking more losses cuz there’s no point of him fighting now he will lose to the top 5.”

Overall, the fans don’t see the current Wilder standing a chance against Ngannou, who almost defeated the current WBC champion Fury.

What happened in the fight between Ngannou and Fury?

In a surprising twist, the boxing bout between former UFC champ Francis Ngannou and WBC Heavyweight champ Tyson Fury ended in a disputed split decision. While Ngannou initially took charge, landing a notable third-round knockdown with a sharp left hook, Fury adjusted his strategy. Transitioning to a jab-centric approach, Fury effectively kept Ngannou’s aggressive onslaught at bay in the latter rounds.

Interestingly, Ngannou, despite being an MMA star, showcased commendable boxing skills reminiscent of seasoned fighters. This unexpected finesse could be attributed to the guidance of boxing legend Mike Tyson. Yet, when the final scores were tallied, Fury had clinched the majority, with two judges favoring him.
