It doesn’t seem to be stopping. Jake Paul won against Anderson Silva on Saturday, October 29.
Fans across the globe don’t see eye to eye on the fairness of the fight, questioning the younger Paul’s decision to pick 47-year-old retired MMA fighter. So much so that despite registering a neat 6 -0 record, many take digs at ‘The Problem Child’ for not fighting a full-time pro-boxer.
Tommy Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, couldn’t help but join the melee.

Like Jake Paul, the younger Fury too has stakes in the entertainment industry. When it comes to boxing, though, the paths diverge. Nicknamed TNT, Tommy Fury has fought eight times against other professional boxers in his weight category; all ending in wins. Out of the eight, he won four through knockouts.
He will face the American southpaw Paul Bamba on November 13 at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena.
Tommy Fury took digs at Jake Paul
After the Silva fight, Paul’s elder brother defended Jake’s decision. He was commenting that both Tommy Fury and Hashim Rahman Jr. had pulled out from the bouts.
Catching up, Tommy Fury lambasted both Paul and Logan’s former rival, now business partner, YouTuber and rapper KSI.
Tommy Fury: "If Jake Paul and KSI didn't have to fight me, they wouldn't. They have to fight me to prove that they are legitimate boxers. They have to. If they wanna be regarded as boxers, they have to go through me." [@MMAFighting]

There is a reason why weight classes and other constraints exist to ensure parity or at least a semblance of it among boxers. Nevertheless, questions on a fight that alludes to one fighter’s advantage will continue.
With Jake Paul’s recent win over Silva, he has created a lot of noise. Hence, it would be interesting to see whom he chooses to face next.
