My Legal Team Is Looking Into This Matter’: Mike Tyson Dismisses Recent ‘False’ Rumors

Boxing legend Mike Tyson was recently rumored to appear for the Fall Brawl charity event set to take place on October 29th in Palmyra. This was revealed after Shane Manney, The CEO, and director of the ministry at 5 Stones Fight Club in Annville announced that Tyson, along with boxers like Mickey Ward, would make appearances on October 29th.

However, Iron Mike has come out and dismissed these rumors. The former heavyweight champion took to Twitter and revealed that he never discussed any such appearance. He also stated that his legal team was looking into it and would solve the issue as quickly as possible. “I am not attending “Fall Brawl” in Palmrya, PA and have never discussed such attendance with anyone responsible for this event; all representations about my attendance are false. My legal team is looking into this matter.” He wrote .

The purpose of the event was to help people struggling with various problems through boxing. It was reported that during the event, a priest will preach to a congregation of about 80 fighters. Moreover, it was revealed that a VIP dinner at the event featuring pro fighters, including Tyson would also be available.

The cost of entering this dinner is set at $100 per person, with a capacity limited to 300 people. However, the price for general admission is $25, while a ringside seat will cost $65. Despite all the promotions, it was just revealed by Iron Mike that will not be attending the event. This certainly diminishes the selling point for the event, which in all likelihood might just be canceled altogether.

Mike Tyson reveals the reason why he fell asleep during an interview

For years, many wondered why Iron Mike dosed off in an interview with Piers Morgan back in 2020. Tyson, who was on the show to promote his fight against Roy Jones Jr, seemed under the influence as he slurred his words, unable to form proper sentences. However, the former champ recently made another appearance on the show, where he revealed the reason for his unprofessional behavior. “I had hurt myself at that particular time. I was training.I received some painkillers from my wife and after I received these painkillers I was just incapable of articulating anything. It was just a mess.” said Tyson.

Morgan would then joke that he thought it was because of him that Tyson fell asleep. However, Tyson admitted that he was the one at fault and apologized for this on the show.
