KSI, at last, broke his silence on the chaos regarding the Joe Fournier fight. This Saturday, ‘The Nightmare’ managed to secure a win against a professional boxer, but apparently, the fight has been ‘tarnished’ because of an elbow strike. During his post-fight interview, KSI refused that it wasn’t an elbow strike, instead, he said that he thwarted Fournier with a clean right hook when he was trying to hold on to him, after being stunned by his overhand right punch. But the video clips later posted by the fans, clearly show the blatant elbow contact before Fournier touched the canvas.

After the bout, Fournier branded KSI as a “cheater” and stated that the PBA organization should instantly declare him the winner instead. It seemed like JJ Olatunji wasn’t ready to address it first, but now he has released a statement where he has talked about the knockout, and how he feels about it.

Many people gave their verdict on this matter, and a lot of them believe that it was indeed an elbow strike, and it should be declared a ‘no contest’. Even KSI’s rival, Jake Paul, gave his views on the bout and stated that he respects boxing as a sport too much to even consider this a proper KO, and he too believes that it was an illegal punch. But what did KSI say about all this?

The Youtuber-turned-boxer put out a statement where he stated that he’s devastated to know that the “inevitable” victory for which he’s worked so hard, will be thrown away, and he wrote that it is not a good feeling. He also addressed the fight and admitted that after Joe was stunned by his heavy strike, he landed another right hook.

He wrote, “I landed that hook, and my glove made contact but appears to have been followed by unintentional contact with my forearm.” Then he goes on to write how worthless it all feels, after not being able to get the “clear” win that he hoped for, and he feels that all of his hard work has just gone to waste.
