Laila Ali always looked up to her father, Muhammad Ali, in every situation of life, whether inside the ring or outside of it. But she continues to find him in her son, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr. A glance at him and she goes down memory lane. That’s not all. The former women’s boxing champion admires her son, who is turning out to be a daunting presence on the field because of his tall and heavy physique.
Ali, 46, who tied the knot with former NFL wide receiver Curtis Conway, has always bragged about their son on social media because of his uncanny resemblance to her father. She also once disclosed how her father used to light up watching his grandkids, especially Curtis, who allowed him to see in him a younger version of himself. The TV presenter once told ABC, “As he [Muhammad Ali] gets older, [he’s] struggling with his disease. But he lights up when he sees the kids, especially my son, who looks exactly like him. He loves that.”
Ali, at 24-0, turned to her Instagram handle and posted a clip of him sitting on a table as they visited the pediatrician. His dimension at 15 is enormous, and they had visited the office for a physical for his sports team. In addition, the former world champion is jubilant that her son doesn’t want to pick up a combat sport.
