Olympic Gold medalist and undisputed female light middleweight champion Claressa Shields is set to make her return to the boxing ring. She will face off against WBO middleweight champion Savannah Marshall on September 10th in London.

Moreover, this will be a title unification bout to unify all four WBO, IBF, WBC, and WBA championships and will be streamed on ESPN+ featuring an all-women card in England for the first time. However, it seems like Shields is not enjoying her preparation leading up to the fight as she stunned fans with her latest tweet posting about her weight loss.
Claressa Shields stuns fans with her latest Tweet
The former Olympic medalist posted a tweet stating that her face was getting skinny and her body was also seeing the effects of her weight loss. She wrote, “My face getting skinny and my bo*ty shrinking.”

Fans were quick to react to this tweet as one fan claimed she must be exercising a lot. He wrote, “Damnnnn u must be putting heavy work in.”

Moreover, another fan praised Shields for her hard work and stated that she was making a small sacrifice for her legacy, also calling her a future Hall of Famer. He wrote, “you’re still a beautiful classy lady. And you’re making a minor sacrifice for a greater good towards your legacy and accomplishments you’re still the upper crust of womens boxing. And!!! You’re a future HOF’er.”

Furthermore, another fan hilariously stated that he would be praying for her husband and would have torn her strength and conditioning program if he were her husband. He wrote, “Praying for your future husband. He is sacrificing a lot making sure your on point. If I was him I’d rip up that strength and conditioning program because there has to be another way.”

However, it was not all love for Shields, as one fan claimed that Marshal was going to beat her in the fight and wished her good luck stating that she would need it against the WBO champion. He wrote, “and when savannah finished with you well a little bit bruised but good luck think you need it, the pooling assassin coming for you, and plz on all tv stations savannah Marshall is from Hartlepool, not Newcastle but Hartlepool ok, she a pooling and proud of it.”

There was a mixed reaction from fans to Shields’ latest Tweet. However, most of the fans are rooting for The GWOAT to come out on top and become the undisputed light-middleweight champion.
