“My Boy Sounds Like a Real Midwest P*mp”: Floyd Mayweather Promoting His Las Vegas Strip Club Goes Horribly Wrong, Fans Slam Boxing Legend

A few years back, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was hit by the golden idea of owning a 7000-square-foot strip club in Las Vegas. The idea was instantly turned into reality in 2018, as Mayweather launched his business venture, ‘Girl Collection’. It soon garnered massive attention and became one of the most visited entertainment spots in the city. Interestingly, Mayweather thought about owning a strip club, when he was in jail. He even made notes and had a blueprint ready for it. As reported by MMA Junkie, in 2017, Mayweather said, “When I was locked up and doing time, I drew the club up. Yes, look. Here go my notes. My lawyer saved them for me.”

Following the success of the venue, many will nod their heads that it was a great decision. And in 2022, before his successful exhibition contest against Mikuru Asakura, he posted a video on Instagram, giving a sneak peek of his renowned strip club.

Also, recently Floyd Mayweather made a promotional video on his Instagram and invited all of the sports athletes to spend their summer break at Girl Collection, in Skate Rock City. “Enjoying yourself is part of culture now,” said Mayweather.

But this way of marketing didn’t sit well with a lot of fans. It left a sour taste, as many fans found it a bit vile to promote a strip club in such a manner. Let’s look at some comments from the Post.

One user poked ‘TBE’ by calling him a “p*mp” as he talked about his strip club in a peculiar manner. They wrote, “My boy sound like a real Midwest P*mp 👌🏿😂“. Another user stated that the video was going well in the beginning, but it kept getting worse. They wrote, “You started good to talk with us but you ended bad 😂😂“.

One user made fun of how Mayweather talked about the business as if it was a restaurant chain. They wrote, “Ima talk to the people rn?😂😂😂bro all you did was lay out the ho menu😂“. Another fan said, “Floyd we know you’re broke, now.” On a similar note, a user named Ruben wrote, “You’re as bored as your fighting style.”
